Recruitment Process

Application and Screening:

  • Applicants must submit their CV or application form, and undergo thorough screening which includes reference checks, background checks, and verification of qualifications (if applicable).

Interviews:

  • Shortlisted candidates are invited for interviews to evaluate their suitability for the role, with the interview panel comprised of managers, senior carers, or other relevant staff members.

Selection:

  • Successful candidates from the interviews are offered the position, pending the completion of pre-employment checks and a clear Enhanced DBS.

Training Process

Induction Training

  • The 5-day induction training includes a mix of classroom practical training in a well-equipped training room, zoom training with group interactions, online surveys with quizzes, and written workbooks. This training covers the Care Certificate, a set of standards defining the knowledge, skills, and behaviours expected in health and social care roles.

On-the-Job Training

  • Carers also receive on-the-job training and shadowing opportunities to observe experienced staff and learn best practices in providing care and support. Staff are visited and supported by senior colleagues during their probationary period to further support your development of skills.
